During autumn work in heavier soils, the first rows of harrow tines have to work hard, as they do a lot of cutting work in the tilth. This sometimes leads to them lifting more than optimal under difficult conditions, which can affect seedbed precision.

By mounting SingleKnife on the CrossBoard, the tilt-cutting ability is drastically increased. The harrow gets an additional row of tines with only 25 cm spacing c-c. This relieves the first rows of harrow tines and increases their working precision, while also getting more done thanks to the harrow’s total effective tine spacing being reduced to only 5.8 cm. A positive side effect of SingleKnife is that they also push up slightly more material to the CrossBoard, which produces more fine soil as its grinding ability increases.

SingleKnife is easily mounted without tools using the QuickChange system. SingleKnife is available in standard and Marathon versions, the latter having tungsten carbide plates mounted. The tungsten carbide ensures both maintained work quality and an extremely long lifespan, which always pays off in the long run.
